What is latin gematria?

latin gematria is a numerological system which is based on assigning numerical values to Latin letters in order to arrive at numerical summations. As a numerological system, it is used as an interpretative tool to gain deeper insight into the meanings of words and phrases.

In the Latin gematria system, the numbers are derived from correlating the alphabet's letters with respective numerical values. For example, "A" translates to 1, "B" to 2 and so on up until "Z" corresponds with 26. To use this system of numerical conversion, each individual letter in a word or phrase is replaced by its corresponding number and then these numbers are calculated in order to arrive at a numerical sum or value.

The practice of latin gematria dates back thousands of years and has been used for various purposes such as divination, interpreting scripture and prophecies, occult rituals, magical practices and esoteric formulas. In fact, some people even believe that latin gematria was used by several ancient cultures who subscribed to the philosophies related number-letter correspondences.

At it's most basic level latin gematria can help to unlock hidden meanings in words or phrases by attaching numerical value to them and then analyzing their relevance through mathematics. In addition, latin gematria has been linked with knowledge seeking traditions such as cabalistic mysticism as well as modern day advanced artificial intelligence systems involving linguistics; both of which use inventories of words accompanied by their respective numerical values.
